October 7, 2010 – CGSHB will hold its 25th Annual Child of Peace Award Dinner at The Union League Club, 38 East 37th Street, New York City. Honorees for this special event are:  

         Monsignor James P. Cassidy will receive the Child of Peace Award; and

         The Cardinal Cooke Guild will receive the Humanitarian Award

International Adoption Program– CGSHB received Hague Accreditation through the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc. for our International Adoption Program. CGSHB is now able to serve children and families here and abroad in accordance with the Intercountry Adoption Act of 2000 (IAA). We now have placement programs serving Taiwan and Democratic Republic of the Congo.
