History of Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau
In June of 2006, Catholic Guardian Society merged with Catholic Home Bureau, and the Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau (CGSHB) was born. CGSHB is an expression of the Archdiocese of New York’s long-standing commitment to assist all children, families and adults in need, regardless of race, creed, or religious affiliation. CGSHB has taken its two well-established organizations of long histories of providing complementary child welfare services to the establishment of one organization entirely devoted towards aiding those in need.
