Caseworkers & Social Workers – Child Welfare

Implement and monitor social service programming directed towards the timely achievement of permanency for children in foster care in accordance with principles of good social work practice. Team approach to clinical treatment. Low caseloads.

Caseworkers: BA, BS, BSW

 

Social Workers: MSW, LMSW, MS, MA

Experience working in a Child Welfare setting and Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.

Bronx, Harlem, & Washington Heights

LMSWs & LCSWs

Provide in-home and residentially-based clinical counseling services to adolescents and  families involved in the child welfare system.

LMSW, LCSW

 

Experience working in a Child Welfare setting and Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.

Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Harlem

Nurses – Child Welfare

Provide health care management to children in foster care. Special populations include children who are: mentally ill, have special medical conditions, including those who are HIV + or have AIDS.

RN (Assoc, BSN, BS, BA, MSN)

 

LPN (Assoc, BS, BA, BSN)

Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, & Staten Island

Nurses - MRDD

Provide health care management to people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Special populations include those who are: mentally ill, blind, deaf, medically frail, elderly, and non-ambulatory.

RN (Assoc, BSN, BS, BA, MSN)

 

LPN (Assoc, BS, BA, BSN)

Bronx &  Manhattan

Residence Manager  - MRDD

 

Manage residence for people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.

BA degree with 2 years of related experience preferred, but will consider appropriate prior related experience.

Bronx 
Direct Care Professionals - MRDD Assist in daily living activities with people who are mentally retarded and develpmentally disabled. Help them to achieve their goals and dreams.

High School Diploma or GED.

Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island (Suffolk County)

Bridges To Health (B2H)

Waiver Service Providers (WSP) -

 

Part-Time Positions Available

 

Mainly Evenings and Weekends

Provide skill building, crisis intervention, family/ caregiver supports and services, supported employment, etc. skills to children with Severe Emotional Disturbance, Medical Fragility, and/or Developmental Disabilities.

Varies by WSP service category: 

Some positions require a High School Diploma or GED, while others require a BA degree, Master's degree, or RN degree. 

Home-based, all 5 boroughs

Housing Specialist- Homeless Services

Assist homeless families in finding, securing, and maintaining permanent housing.

BA, BS, BSW

 

Experience in housing services required. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
