Maternity Services Program

Since its founding in 1925, the Maternity Services Program of Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau has helped mothers and mothers-to-be with access to pre and post-natal care, free counseling, parenting classes, safe new cribs with mattresses, blankets, layettes, baby clothing, baby formula, assistance with immunizations, housing referrals, and other supportive services. The Maternity Services Program serves over 1200 women each year in metropolitan and upstate New York. It also offers full-service domestic adoption and post-adoption programs and facilitates international adoptions.

The Maternity Services Program is one of several Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau initiatives designed to help families, children, and individuals with special needs. How You Can Help Support our Maternity Services Program

Since we receive no government funding for the program, we must rely on the generous support of those who share the program’s pro-life mission. If you share our commitment to serving children by strengthening families, please consider helping us continue to achieve our mission by making a donation.

Supporters of our Maternity Service Program might wish to donate:

$5,000 for 350 Health Packets for Mothers and Mothers-to-Be (hand lotion, moisturizer, nail care)
$5,000 for 350 Health Packets for Newborns (including shampoo, baby wash, baby lotion, baby bath)
$10,000 for 50 safe new cribs with bumper guards and mattresses
$20,000 for comprehensive maternity services for 40 new clients

General support in any amount is always welcome. Please make your checks payable to Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau. We also accept gifts of appreciated securities, bequests and tribute or memorial gifts. Credit card donations are also accepted.
